Mincon Inc Supports Junior Achievement in Roanoke
In March, the team at Mincon Inc’s Roanoke office took part in Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia’s Annual Bowl-A-Thon. The event raises funds for programs focused on financial literacy and workforce readiness for students across the region, helping to equip young people with essential life skills for the future.
Mincon Canada Backs Community Initiatives in North Bay
The team at Mincon’s North Bay factory has been actively involved in several community efforts across the region, from supporting youth engineering to backing local food security and industry networking.
Supporting the Next Generation of Engineers at FIRST Robotics
Employees volunteered their time at the FIRST Robotics Canada competition hosted in North Bay, supporting young participants in a hands-on engineering environment that helps build STEM skills and real-world problem-solving confidence.

Record-Breaking North Bay Food Bank Drive
The team also took part in an annual food bank drive alongside other businesses sharing their building, raising a record 272kg (599 lbs) of food and $2,220 in donations for the North Bay Food Bank. It was the largest contribution the building has put forward in the history of the drive.

Mincon Canada was a Partner Sponsor of the CIM Northern Gateway Branch seafood mixer, with team members attending and engaging with industry peers from across the region’s mining community.


Mincon Peru Responds to Villa María del Triunfo Fire
Our colleagues at Mincon Peru responded to a fire in the Villa María del Triunfo community in Lima, where two families lost their homes and belongings. Through a coordinated effort between the company and its employees, essential supplies and food were delivered to those affected.

The Mincon Peru team coordinated the donation effort from their facility, packing essential household items, non-perishable food, and basic supplies for direct delivery to the affected families.
The supplies were delivered directly to the families in Villa María del Triunfo, with the Mincon Peru team on the ground to help coordinate distribution alongside the local community.

This rapid response reflects Mincon’s commitment to supporting local communities in times of urgent need, with regional teams empowered to act quickly when neighbors need help.
