As a global company with a proud family heritage, Mincon is proud to support local communities in the markets where it does business.
The team at Mincon Australia recently celebrated these values and showed off their sporting spirit by signing on as a sponsor for Cottesloe Rugby Union Football Club, a non-profit sports organisation in Perth, Australia.
Georgie Gallagher, Media and Marketing, Cottesloe Rugby, said:
“Founded in 1893, Cottesloe Rugby Union Football Club is the oldest rugby club in Western Australia. Rugby is a terrific game for kids. At Cott Pirates, we’re all about encouraging boys and girls to play rugby, have fun, learn great skills, make lifelong friends and become part of a vibrant community of all age groups.”
The rugby club has been actively growing its junior membership in recent years, which has doubled every year since 2016. Their goal is to field teams in every age group from, four to 18 years.
Jim Purcell, Sales and Service Manager, Mincon Australia Group, said:
“Cott Rugby has long been a part of the community here in Perth, where Mincon has had an office since 1990. We share many values with the club, and we’re thrilled we can give back to the community by supporting them.”
