Elf Drilling who are doing Grade Control at the Vadanta Zinc Mine in Aggenys in the Northern Cape using Mincon MR120 hammers and bits as well as Driconeq RC Remet drill pipe have just taken ownership of a Progradex EL 850 sampling system, also supplied by Mincon.

The EL 850 is the entry level sampler in the Progradex range, and as such is a reasonably priced unit that is ideal for mounting directly onto the grade Control drill rig, although Elf Drilling chose to mount this unit onto a trailer.
Elf Drilling have found that using the Mincon range of RC hammers and bits have increased their production and cut their drilling costs considerably. The mine are also extremely happy with the results from the Mincon range of products.
